Thank you so much for contacting me and for sharing your views on this critical issue of privacy.

Yesterday I was proud to sign the "Dale Earnhardt Bill" which will address the concerns of the Earnhardt family and their supporters from around Florida and around the nation. It will protect the privacy of autopsy photos from review, publication or broadcast.

We hope that this law will help the Earnhardts and all who feel for them put to rest their fears that these photos might become public. Our thoughts continue to be with the family at this difficult time.
